DESCRIPTION:Grundy County Heroes & Helpers 2026 Drawdown – October 24, 2026\nGardner American Legion, 426 Industry Ave., Gardner, IL – Doors open at 4:30pm, Bucket Raffles, 50/50,\nlive and silent auctions throughout the event, Dinner served at 5:00pm, Drawdown at 600pm\n\nGrundy County Heroes & Helpers Inc. (GCHH) is a charitable 501(c)(3) organization consisting of first responders, their families, and community volunteers who dedicate their time to help children and families in Grundy County, Illinois enduring loss, trauma, poverty and hardships. GCHH is funded by donations, grants and fundraising\nevents throughout the year. All funds collected go towards our annual “Shop With A Local Hero” event in\nDecember when first responders are partnered with a child(ren) in need and treated to a shopping spree at\nWalmart, followed by lunch with Santa and FREE toys collected at toy drives throughout the year. Thanks to\nyour support, we were able to give over 180 children in Grundy County an extra special Christmas in 2025.\n\nTicket sales, donations and Sponsorships from this event will support our annual “Shop With A Local Hero” event on 12/12/2026, to assist our elderly community, and families enduring hardships in Grundy County.\n\n \n\nFor tickets, please visit our event page and either print out form or fill it out online!
