Grundy County Heroes & Helpers 2024 Drawdown – October 19, 2024
Gardner American Legion, 426 Industry Ave., Gardner, IL – Doors open at 4:30pm, Bucket Raffles, 50/50, live and silent auctions throughout the event, Dinner served at 5:00pm, Drawdown at 6pm
Grundy County Heroes & Helpers Inc. (GCHH) is a charitable 501(c)(3) organization consisting of first responders, their families, and community volunteers who dedicate their time to help children and families in Grundy County, Illinois enduring loss, trauma, poverty and hardships. GCHH is funded by donations, grants and fundraising events throughout the year. All funds collected go towards our annual “Shop With A Local Hero” event in December when first responders are partnered with a child(ren) in need and treated to a shopping spree at Walmart, followed by lunch with Santa and FREE toys collected at toy drives throughout the year. Thanks to your support, we were able to give over 180 children in Grundy County an extra special Christmas in 2023.
